Two Females Throw Down Outside Ed Burns Arena
Two females fought in the Ed Burns Arena parking lot at about 8:28 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, according to police.
One of the females was walking on the Minuteman bike path with two males, one of whom was her boyfriend, when, according to her, the other female, who was in a parked car with a juvenile, yelled at the boyfriend, “What are you looking at?”
The female who was walking then yelled back, “What did you say?” and began walking back toward the vehicle, she told police. When the female in the parked car got out, the two immediately began a physical confrontation that lasted a few seconds and ended with both females on the ground, according to the police report.
The female in the parked car called police. Both females told police that they were not injured and did not want to pursue complaints.
Man Flees After Filling Up
A man driving a brown Chevy pickup allegedly took off Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 25, after getting his tanked filled for $100 at the Gulf station on Massachusetts Avenue in Arlington Heights.
The man had his bank card declined, and when a gas station employee went to try and run it again, he drove off at about 3:02 p.m., according to the police report. The man, who was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, drove toward Lexington on Massachusetts Avenue.
Dunkin’ Donuts Employee Allegedly Caught Giving Extra Change
An employee at the Dunkin’ Donuts on Summer Street allegedly got caught on tape giving extra change to a customer.
The employee gave extra change to the same customer on three separate occasions, the store’s manager told police Monday afternoon, Sept. 24. The employee gave $160 in all to the customer, he said.
The employee told police that she must have made a mistake. She was fired, according to the police report.
