Two Arrests in Arlington Tuesday

The following information comes from the Arlington Police Department. When arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Candace E. Malik, 23, of Union Street, Everett, was arrested at about 1:14 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, on Broadway and charged with failure to stop for a stop sign and operating a motor vehicle in violation of license class (she was driving alone with a learner’s permit, police said). Malik also had an active warrant out of Lawrence District Court for larceny over $250, according to police.

Byron Ramirez, 26, of Rockaway Street, Lynn, was arrested at about 5:35 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, on Warrant Street and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and having an unregistered motor vehicle. Ramirez had six previous arrests for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, according to police.
