The crash occurred on the famed Robbins Farm Park sledding hill.

Arlington Public Works employees were instructed to flatten a jump on the famed Robbins Farm Park sledding hill Monday afternoon after a mother caught too much air and injured her back.

Emergency personnel responded to the hill at about 2:05 p.m. Monday for a report of a sledding injury.

When they arrived, the mother was face down in the snow near the baseball field backstop complaining of lower back pain, police said.
