Robbery on Churchill Avenue

A Churchill Avenue father and son contacted police Friday night after three males stole the son’s cell phone and ring.

The son had gone outside to talk to the three males, who he knew, to discuss a marijuana deal with one of his friends who was still inside his house.

The son told police that one of the males, who had set up the deal, threatened him while wearing brass knuckles. The son said the male said that he would “beat the [expletive] out of [him] and then kill [him]” if he did not go inside and get the marijuana.

The son said he was afraid of what this suspect might do to him if he gets in trouble, as he has heard rumors that he shot another person over a much less serious matter.

The son handed over his cell phone and ring to the three males, who drove away when he went inside.
