Raccoon in Arlington Tests Positive for Rabies

The raccoon, now dead, bit two children and an adult over the weekend.

A raccoon, which bit two children and an adult in Arlington over the weekend, has tested positive for rabies, according to the town.

The bites occurred Friday evening on Hodge and Upland roads in the Morningside neighborhood – however, reports of sick animals have been received all over town.

All three bitten were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
