Arlington police have responded to a growing number of overnight home break-ins in recent weeks, according to a Thursday press release from the department.

The break-ins have primarily occurred on the Winchester side of Summer Street, around Crawford Street but not on it. Mainly unlocked homes have been broken into, police said.

Police are investigating the incidents and are asking residents to keep their homes locked at all times.
