Police Log: Underage Drinking, Stolen Property

Incidents from March 3 to 6.

Underage Drinking

Police responded at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday to the municipal parking lot behind for a report of youths drinking. Once there, police located a large group of what appeared to be high-school-aged teens drinking. The group scattered when police arrived. Two teens were given alcohol-related citations.

Trucks Tagged

The owner of reported at 3:45 p.m. Friday that two of his trucks on Lowell Street were tagged with gray paint sometime between 2 and 3 p.m.

Plow Lights Stolen

The owner of on Garden Street reported at 9:15 a.m. Friday that someone had stolen four plow lights off two trucks sometime overnight.

Dishes, Glassware Stolen

A Massachusetts Avenue couple told police at about 11 a.m. Thursday that when they recently went to their basement storage unit, the unit’s lock had been cut and a number of items were missing, including dishes and glassware, Christmas ornaments and a ceramic tree. The couple had not been to the unit since Christmas 2009.
