Girl Assaulted by Man with ‘Crazy Eyes’ on Bike Path
A man with “crazy eyes” roller bladed past a girl biking on the Minuteman Bikeway, near the Park Avenue bridge, at about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday and allegedly scratched the girl’s left hand with what appeared to be a Swiss Army Knife.
The man, traveling west, continued on and might have exited the bike path at Hurd Field, the girl told police later that night.
The girl was biking with a friend. However, the friend was ahead of the girl and did not witness the incident.
The suspect was described as a 5-foot-10 white male, medium build, 30 to 40 years old with short brown hair, hazel eyes and possibly a tattoo on his upper left arm. He was wearing a red T-shirt and gray sweat pants, according to the girl, and he had “crazy eyes.”

Police responded to the water tower at Turkey Hill at about 10 p.m. Tuesday for a report of kids gathering in the area.
