Student Buys Stolen iPod
On Friday morning, Police caught what appears to be a student buying a stolen iPod for $50.
According to the report, an officer witnessed a student buying an older iPod from another student. The officer asked to look the item. He later found out it had been stolen.
Police recorded the incident address as 120 Ronald Road. The only school in that vicinity is Stratton Elementary School.
The stolen iPod ranges in price from $260 to $303, according to police.
Thief Takes New Sneakers, Leaves Old Ones Behind
On Saturday afternoon, a Lewis Avenue resident told police someone broke into her car and rummaged through it. The victim said the suspect stole her son’s leather sneakers, leaving his own pair behind.
Cab Fare Evasion
Early on Sunday morning, a taxi driver reported that an Arlington resident ran away on Mott Street without paying his $30 tab.
The driver said the man hailed the cab in Harvard Square and asked to be taken to Mott Street. When the driver turned into the street, the man jumped out of the cab and ran.
The man is described as white and clean shaven, with a medium build and in his 20s.
