Police Log: Arlington Center CVS Robbed at Knifepoint

The following information comes from the Arlington Police Department. It does not indicate a convicition.

are seeking a suspect who robbed CVS in Arlington Center using a 6-inch knife.

About 8:40 p.m. on Saturday, a CVS employee told police that a man followed her behind the register, showed her a knife and demanded she open the register. The employee said the man took $190 and left the store at 319 Broadway, according to the police report.

Another employee said she was outside the store when she saw a man exit the store in a hurry, walking quickly across Massachusetts Avenue. That employee told police she did not realize a robbery had just happened, so she didn’t pay attention to the man. Neither employee recognized the suspect.

Police were able to review the store’s video surveillance system. Based on the images, the suspect is described as white male with a shaved head, 35 to 45 years old, about 6 feet, wearing a gray sweat shirt and jeans.
