Osborne Road Home Broken Into While Residents Asleep

The break-in occurred early Sunday morning.

An Osborne Road home was broken into at about 4 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, while the two men who live there were asleep.

The suspect entered the home through a kitchen window, stole car keys off of a dining room table and then took off in one of the residents’ cars, a Honda Civic, according to police.

One of the residents woke up and heard noises coming from the kitchen and dining room, but he thought it was his roommate, he told police. He then heard the front door open and close but again thought it was his roommate. When he heard his car start up and peel out at a high rate of speed, he called 911.
