Larceny from Arlington Center Restaurant

Police responded to in Arlington Center at about 6:36 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a recent larceny.

Once there, police heard from the Indian restaurant’s owner, who said that an unknown white male had entered the restaurant through a propped open back door and stolen some items from the employee locker room.

One employee was missing a credit card; another was missing two gold rings, a gold necklace and his passport.

One of the employees saw the suspect leaving the restaurant, and there was video surveillance footage of the suspect as well.

Arlington Woman Arrested for Assault and Battery

Barbara J. Ladny, 53, of Arlington, was arrested at about 4:13 p.m. Tuesday on Gardner Street for assault and battery on an individual over 60 or disabled and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
