Juvenile Arrested After Allegedly Breaking Into Gulf Station

Police recognized the suspect from surveillance footage, according to the police report.

A juvenile was arrested Monday after allegedly breaking into the Gulf Gas Station at the corner of River Street and Mystic Valley Parkway sometime during the previous night.

Officers were called to the station at about 6:35 a.m., as two of the station’s windows had been broken overnight and there were blood droplets on the floor. The owner said nothing appeared to be missing.

After recognizing the suspect from the footage, officers interviewed the juvenile and noticed that he had a bandage on his pinky finger. The juvenile allegedly told police, “I cut my finger on a peach.”

Officers also allegedly spotted the hoody seen in the footage on the suspect’s floor.

After questioning, the juvenile was arrested and charged with felony breaking and entering at night and malicious destruction of property over $250.
