Italian Man Arrested for Assault and Battery
An Italian man was arrested Wednesday evening at a Mass. Ave. bus stop and charged with assault and battery.

Matteo Paoloni, 32, of Rome, Italy, allegedly got into an argument with a woman while walking on Mass. Ave., near Stop & Shop, at about 7:18 p.m. Wednesday. He allegedly grabbed the woman by the neck and shoved her away during the altercation.
A witness called police to the scene.
