Grove Street Man Charged with Assault and Battery

A Grove Street man was charged with assault and battery Saturday morning after he allegedly shoved a woman during an argument in his residence.

Ronald D. Rivera, 28, was arrested at about 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

He and the woman were arguing over misplaced fog lights, according to police.

Rivera told police the argument never turned physical. The woman said Rivera has put her in headlocks in the past and hid the phone when she tried to call for help.
