Gardner Street Man Charged with Assault and Battery, Witness Intimidation

A Gardner Street man was arrested Monday morning and charged with assault and battery and witness intimidation after an alleged altercation with a woman in his residence.
Timothy V. Xayyaraj, 24, was arrested shortly after 7:30 a.m.
He told police that the woman was acting out of control. The woman said that Xayyaraj pushed her and took the phone when she tried to call police.
