Fox Bites Man, Man Kills Fox, Man Faints
A Cypress Road man was trimming bushes in his backyard with an electric hedge clipper at about 9:40 a.m. Saturday when a fox came out of the bushes and bit his boot, according to police.

The man then stepped on the fox and struck it with the hedge clipper, killing it instantly, he told police.
At the scene, the man said he believed the bite did not break his skin and he refused any further medical treatment. He said he would most likely go to an emergency room later in the day for preventative measures.

Less than 30 minutes later, police and EMTs returned to the scene because the man had just fainted. He was then transported to Mount Auburn Hospital, police said.
The Arlington Board of Health was notified of the incident, according to police.
