Continuing Coverage of Monday's Deaths on Newland Road

A family of four was found dead in a Newland Road home Monday afternoon by Arlington police on a well-being check.

The deceased were a married couple, Scott and Mei Kum Jones, both 43 of Arlington, and their infant twin sons, Colt and Cameron Jones, who would’ve turned 1 on Nov. 26. Their bodies were found in the home, a first-floor condo at 45 Newland Road, at 12:07 p.m.

Authorities have not announced the cause and manner of the deaths, as they’re awaiting autopsy results. They have said that it was an isolated incident and that there is no threat to the public. They are also not looking for any additional suspects.

The couple was reportedly going through a “nasty divorce.” Scott Jones had threatened suicide in 2010, according to police.
