Boston Men Arrested on Drug Charges in Turkey Hill Neighborhood

The following information comes from the Arlington Police Department. When arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Two Boston men who were found sleeping in a vehicle on Washington Street early Tuesday morning were arrested and charged with a variety of drug charges.

Michael J. Lee, 28, of Adams Street, Dorchester, was charged with intent to distribute a Class A drug, intent to distribute a Class D drug and conspiracy to violate the drug law. Elija E. Lewis-Jean, 20, of Ripley Road, Boston, was charged with intent to distribute a Class D drug and conspiracy to violate the drug law.

Police located the vehicle in the area at about 2:40 a.m. and deemed it to be suspicious, as its brake lights were on and there have been a number of overnight residential break-ins in the area.

Police allegedly found marijuana separated into multiple containers in the vehicle and heroin in Lee’s jacket, as well as cash.

Police also suspect that cell phones and an Xbox 360 gaming system found in the vehicle were stolen.
