Bicyclist Injured in Minuteman Bikeway Crash

The victim had no memory of the crash, police said.

A bicyclist was injured when he tried to pass another bicyclist on the Minuteman Bikeway, near Grove Street, and they collided.

The injured bicyclist told police that he had no memory of the crash. The other bicyclist told police what had happened.

The victim, who fell off of his bike, was taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, police said.

Mark, thanks for clarifying the TAC policies. I was unaware of any of that stuff. Hopefully it will not take a death. Also, to clarify, the rider that hit the injured rider stayed at the scene. The rider that took off was the rider going really fast in the other direction. I am actually not certain if that rider realized that an accident was caused, but there is a reasonable chance that he did.
