Arrests in Arlington: Oct. 10-16

There were four arrests in Arlington from Wednesday, Oct. 10, to Tuesday, Oct. 16.

The following information comes from the Arlington Police Department. When arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, Oct. 16

Oliver E. Jagoutz, 41, of Mount Vernon Street, Arlington, was arrested at about 12:39 a.m. Tuesday on Mount Vernon Street and charged with assault and battery. Jagoutz allegedly had an altercation with a woman that early morning/night.

Monday, Oct. 15

Dakota M. Jackson, 17, of Webster Street, Arlington, was arrested at about 3:53 p.m. on Massachusetts Avenue and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise. Jackson allegedly stole a pregnancy test kit from the East Arlington Walgreens that afternoon.

Thursday, Oct. 11

Donald W. O’Brien, 44, of Ernest Road, Arlington, was arrested at about 10:35 p.m. Thursday on Ernest Road and charged with assault and battery and being in possession of a Class D drug. O’Brien allegedly had an altercation with a man that night.

A juvenile was arrested at about 4:15 p.m. Thursday and charged with distributing a Class D drug (marijuana) and a drug violation near a school/park.
