Sunday, Jan. 6

An Arlington man was arrested at about 9:52 p.m. Sunday on Woodside Lane and charged with assault and battery. He allegedly had an altercation with a woman that night. Police said he was “intoxicated and belligerent” while being questioned and went on tangents about Barack Obama, taxes and leaf blowers. [Editor's note: These charges were dismissed.]

Linda A. Bonaccorso, 56, of Old Colony Lane, Arlington, was arrested at about 4:02 a.m. Sunday and charged with assault and battery. Bonaccorso allegedly had an altercation with a woman early that morning.
