Arrests in Arlington: Dec. 19-Jan. 1

There were eight arrests in Arlington from Wednesday, Dec. 19, to Tuesday, Jan. 1.

The following information comes from the Arlington Police Department. When arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, Jan. 1

Zachary Rosenberger, a 19-year-old homeless man from Lowell, was arrested at about 4:29 p.m. Tuesday on an active court warrant.

William B. Bowman, 31, of Candia Street, Arlington, was arrested at about 2:23 p.m. Tuesday and charged with assault and battery. Bowman allegedly had an altercation with a woman that afternoon.

John R. Garballey, 30, of Hemlock Street, Arlington, was arrested at about 2:15 a.m. Tuesday on Richfield Road and charged with operating under the influence, first offense, speeding and failure to use a turn signal.

Wednesday, Dec. 26

Robert A. Halloran, 43, of Dudley Street, Arlington, was arrested at about 11:07 p.m. Wednesday on Dudley Street and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battering and intimidating a witness. Halloran allegedly had an altercation with a woman that night.

Christopher St. Louis, 54, of Greenbrier Street, Dorchester, was arrested at about 9:07 p.m. Wednesday on Randolph Street and charged with assault and battery. St. Louis allegedly had previous altercations with a woman.

and charged with attempted murder, assault and battery and threats.

Tuesday, Dec. 25

Gavin F. Compass, 20, of Magnolia Street, Dorchester, was arrested at about 9:17 a.m. Tuesday on Teresa Circle on two active court warrants. Compass’ warrants were out of Boston for larceny from a person and larceny from a building.

Monday, Dec. 24

Randy D. Nazaire, 22, of Johnson Road, Chicopee, was arrested at about 10:30 p.m. Monday on Decatur Street and charged with disorderly conduct. Nazaire was allegedly screaming expletives in the middle of Decatur Street that night, even after repeated attempts by officers to calm him down.
