and charged with receiving stolen property over $250, being in possession of a Class A substance (heroin) and giving a false name to police, and on four active court warrants.

Saturday, Aug. 11

No arrests

Friday, Aug. 10

John J. Bishop, 46, of Washington Street, Arlington, was arrested at about 12:31 p.m. Friday on Washington Street on an active court warrant. Bishop’s warrant was out of Concord District Court for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration, a miscellaneous equipment violation and failure to wear a seatbelt. The charges stem from Lexington.

Thursday, Aug. 9

Edward A. Doyle, 59, of Highland Avenue, Arlington, was arrested at about 10:21 p.m. Thursday on Highland Avenue and charged with assault and battery. Doyle allegedly had an altercation with a man.

Wednesday, Aug. 8

No arrests

Tuesday, Aug. 7

Ardit Gjiknuri, 21, of Old Colony Lane, Arlington, was arrested at about 12:26 a.m. Tuesday on Old Colony Lane and charged with assault and battery. Gjiknuri allegedly had an altercation with a man.
