There were eight arrests in Arlington from Tuesday, Aug. 28, to Tuesday, Sept. 4.

Tuesday, Sept. 4

No arrests

Monday, Sept. 3

Scott MacMillan, 51, of Milton Street, Arlington, was arrested at about 7:58 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3, on Massachusetts Avenue and charged with assault and battery on a person over 60 or disabled. MacMillan allegedly pushed a woman to the ground during an altercation.

Sunday, Sept. 2

A juvenile was arrested at about 9:49 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, and charged with assault and battery on a police officer, two counts of assault and threat to commit a crime.

Saturday, Sept. 1

No arrests

Friday, Aug. 31

A juvenile was arrested at about 6:35 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31, on two active court warrants out of Arlington, one of which was for assault and battery on a police officer.

Xavier Rodgers, 28, of Dudley Street, Boston, was arrested at about 5:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31, on Mystic Street and charged with speeding and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Rodgers also had a warrant out for his arrest from Somerville on six other driving-related charges, police said.

Thursday, Aug. 30

A juvenile was arrested at about 11:06 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, and charged with assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

A juvenile was arrested at about 10:25 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, and charged with malicious destruction of property over $250.

Jake Silveira, 20, of Bow Street, Arlington, was arrested at about 4:41 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, on Park Avenue and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, malicious destruction of property over $250, threat to commit a crime and trespassing. Silveira allegedly threw a wooden broom at a woman and her son during an altercation. He also broke a window on a house and kicked a trash can and a car, police said.

Wednesday, Aug. 29

No arrests

Tuesday, Aug. 28

Jeffrey Fahey, 43, of Thorndike Street, Arlington, was arrested at about 6:05 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, on Thorndike Street on an active court warrant. Fahey’s warrant was out of Wayland for being in possession of a Class B substance.
