5 Arrests in Arlington Over Columbus Day Weekend

The following information comes from the Arlington Police Department. When arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Oct. 14

Najma J. Smith, 22, of Windsor Street, Arlington, was arrested at about 11:47 a.m. Monday on Windsor Street on a warrant out of Randolph for aggravated assault and assault and battery. Smith was arrested after police responded to her residence for a report of a domestic incident.

Paul C. Hicks, 18, of Warren St., Arlington, was arrested at about 11:36 a.m. Sunday on Warren Street and charged with assault and battery. Hicks allegedly grabbed a woman by her neck and threw her to the ground after she smashed his laptop, Xbox and iPod during an argument. Police are also seeking a criminal complaint against the woman for malicious destruction of property over $250.

Saturday, Oct. 12

Bryan J. Christie, 22, of Lexington Street, Burlington, was arrested at about 11:03 p.m. Saturday on Egerton Road and charged with possession of a Class B drug. Christie had cocaine and Percocet in his car after a drug deal, according to police.

Friday, Oct. 11

Gregory W. Moulton, a 22-year-old homeless man, was arrested at about 5:21 p.m. Friday on Broadway on a warrant out of Boston for receiving a stolen motor vehicle.

Joseph W. Meserve, a 19-year-old homeless man, was arrested at about noon Friday on Mass. Ave. Meserve was arrested on a warrant out of Somerville for underage possession of alcohol in Arlington Center but is also now being charged with resisting arrest, threats and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon as a result of his arrest.
