Selectmen Lie and Wait! You can fight town hall and win!

The prize is to lose a piece of our neighborhood to a bunch of people that Violated The Open Meeting Law. Sent our local police down Swan Place to target our street, and take away our 55 years of parking rights.

Kevin Greeley and Diane Mahon were in charge of taking our parking rights. They never talked to us about the targeted ticketing that caused it. (all 5 selectmen walked cowardly out of the meeting when I brought it up on 12/03/12)  On November 21,2013, our new 2 hour parking signs were put up. The selectmen were nice and they let us pay $200.00 for an overnight parking sticker to park in front of our homes because we don't have driveways.  They let us, if we have the  $200.00 overnight parking sticker, park just in front of our own homes during the day for longer than the 2 hours but no other place, just in front of our own homes! (that's nice) I just hope no commuter gets there first..

But that's all right! Lets talk about parking at the selectmen's meeting on May 20th 2013. TAC (Traffic advisory committee) talked about center parking, and said that Pleasant St which also has 2 hour parking, has no turnover which means you can park there all day and not get a single ticket (I have never seen a ticket there in 28 years). So if you need free parking all day, seven days a week, Pleasant Street is the place. That's where I’ll park when the commuters use up my $200.00 spot.

On December 3, 2012, I asked if the  parking being removed for the Bike Lane at 626 Mass Ave to Swan Place was the reason we lost our parking.  The question was ignored!

The Selectmen just…...LIE AND WAIT!
