SELECTMEN GIVE TOWN EMPLOYEES FREE PARKING AGAIN!!
Yes our selectmen have done it again! It seems the teachers and some town employees are going to be given some more free parking, this time 26 spots in front of the high school isn’t that nice. While taxpayers like residents of Swan Place in 2012 when this BoS and parking subcommittee removed residents parking from Swan Place violated open meeting law!
(and made us pay to park on street because we don’t have driveways) The reason that happen was to make up for the lack of parking sports that will be removed from 626 Mass Ave to Swan Place 6 spots so a bike lane can be put in! Now four lanes will be striped from Bartlett Ave to Rt 60 east and west sides, no bike lanes and once we cross Rt 60 they take away parking for the bike lane on the S.E. side?... This is how our selectmen work screw the taxpayers, raise our taxes make us pay to park, and then town employees are given pay raises and FREE PARKING must be NICE THANKS BoS!!!!! ….Better where boots in this town cause the shi* is deep!
