Bob Sprague sheds doubt on rape victim's story

Bob Sprague, the publisher and self proclaimed journalist of the internet rag "yo UR Arlington" characterized the recent heinous attack on an Arlington woman as "allegedly raped and assaulted in her apartment" on the Arlington List of Crazy People today.

Generally, the perpetrator's actions are characterized by news reports as "alleged" in deference to the presumption of innocence until proven guilty principle.  It is rare that reporters would cast doubt that an attack took place especially given the police reporting and statements made by Police Chief Fred Ryan.

Interestingly, after Sprague's reporting caused righteous indignation by some women on the Arlington List, other crazy list supporters, most notably the usual suspects "Mark", "Linda" and "Meg", tried to defend Sprague's choice of wording.

At this time, Sprague has made no attempt to correct his language or clear up any misunderstanding that his lede might have caused, although he found the time to debate anonymous patch commentators throughout the day.

I wonder why Sprague thinks the rape may not have actually occurred?
