Robert Ciampa, of Arlington, Dies at 90

Ciampa died Sunday, Feb. 2.

Robert A. Ciampa, of Arlington, formerly of Somerville, passed away peacefully on Feb. 2, 2014 at the age of 90.

Beloved husband of Mary (Leone) Ciampa. Father of Carol and her husband James McGrath of Sutton, Francis Ciampa and his wife Sheila of Andover, Peter Ciampa of Paducah, K.Y., and David Ciampa and his wife Carolyn of Castine, Maine. Grandfather of 14 grandchildren. He is survived by his brother Edward, and his sisters Carmela Rice and Eleanor Castellano.

He was a graduate of Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and was a co-owner of Grover's Pharmacy in Somerville. Robert served proudly in the Navy during WWII.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the DeVito Funeral Home, 1145 Mass. Ave., ARLINGTON, on Thursday from 8:30-9:30 a.m. with a funeral mass to commence at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Church. Burial to follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
