Rita A. Baldani, Longtime Arlington Resident, Dies at 67

Baldani died Saturday, Nov. 2.

Rita A. (Regal) Baldani, a medical secretary and longtime resident of Arlington, died after a long illness at the Falkner Hospital in Boston on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013. Born in Cambridge on Aug. 25, 1946, to the late Joseph H. and Marie (Hamill) Regal, she was 67.

Rita is the beloved wife of Richard J. Baldani; the loving mother of Christina M. Platt and her husband Andrew of Sutton; and Richard J. Baldani Jr. of Arlington; the sister of Mary Mackesy, Janet D’Onofrio, Joseph Regal, Stephen Regal, Kathryn Duarte, Michael Regal and Francine Regal. She is also survived by one grandson, Ryan Platt.

Rita’s funeral will be from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut Street, Arlington, on Thursday, Nov. 7th at 9 a.m., followed by her funeral mass in Saint Agnes Church, 30 Medford St., Arlington, at 10 a.m. Services will conclude with burial at the Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge.

Visiting hours will be in the funeral home on Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 4-8 p.m.
