Ruth F. (Welch) Carr, of Arlington, formerly of Cambridge, Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012.

Beloved wife of the late Edward Carr. Loving mother of: Steven Carr MD and his wife Kathleen of Milton, Dr. Bill Carr and his wife Laura of Norton, Noreen Carr of Arlington, Nancy Burke and her husband Paul of Belmont, and Peggy Rigoli and her husband Tony of Waltham. Dear grandmother of Jillian, Lindsey and Kelsey Burke, and Nicole and Holly Rigoli.  Cherished aunt of the late Frederick Lynch. Predeceased by seven brothers and sisters.

Retired secretary for Cambridge Public Schools.

Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., (Rt. 60, adjacent to St. Agnes Church) ARLINGTON, on Saturday at 8 a.m. Funeral Mass at Saint Camillus Church at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Friday 5-8 p.m. Burial in Saint Paul’s Cemetery in Arlington.
