Obituary: Roy F. Cook Sr., Recipient of Two Purple Hearts

Roy F. Cook Sr., of Groveland, formerly of Arlington, passed away Sunday, Dec. 16.

Beloved husband of the late Ruth D. (Pavey). Loving father of Diane Arnold of Groveland, Roy Cook Jr. and his wife Joanne of Arlington, and Dana Ventolieri of Pelham, N.H. Devoted grandfather of Michael, Roy III, Sherrie-Lynn, Jason, Samantha, and Ashley. Great grandfather of Roy IV and Brandee. Brother of Ralph Cook of Dracut. Roy is predeceased by eight brothers and sisters.

Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St. (Rt.60, adjacent to St. Agnes Church), ARLINGTON, on Thursday and funeral mass at Saint Eulalia’s Church, Winchester. Mass time will be in tomorrow’s newspaper. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 p.m.  Burial in Winchendon Veteran Cemetery on Thursday at 2 p.m.
