Obituary: Rosemary R. Movsessian, Musician in Al Vega Trio

Rosemary R. (Starrett) Movsessian, of Arlington, died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013. 

Devoted wife of the late Charles H. Movsessian. Loving mother of Richard Movsessian and the late Karen Orrigo. Beloved mother-in-law of Denise Movsessian and Joseph Orrigo. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Charles, Joe and James Orrigo, Emily and Karina Movsessian. Adored sister of Nancy Burke and the late Edwin Starrett. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral from the Rogers & Hutchins Funeral Home, 292 Mass. Ave., Arlington, on Friday at 10 a.m. Graveside service at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Arlington at 11 a.m. Visiting hours Thursday from 4-8 p.m.

Rosemary was a musician with the Al Vega Trio as well as other groups around Boston.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation of Maine, 477 Congress St., Portland, ME 04101, in memory of “Lad in a Battle.”
