Richard W. Carroll, retired Arlington Police Department patrolman, of Arlington, died Tuesday, Dec. 3.

Beloved husband of Marie A. (Mueller) Carroll. Devoted father of Theresa A. Wilson and her husband Jeff of Hyde Park, Susan Munchbach of Dedham and Richard W. Carroll Jr. and his wife Kristin of Plymouth. Beloved Papa of Michael, Emily, Kayla, Megan, Kelley and Faith. Brother of retired Chief John F., Mary Rita Coughlin, Daniel, Joan DeLuca, Linda Collins, Gerald and the late Edward, James and William Carroll. Funeral from The DeVito-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 1145 Mass. Ave., ARLINGTON, Saturday morning at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at 11 a.m. in St. Eulalia Church, Winchester. Interment to follow Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visiting at the funeral home Friday 4-8 p.m.
