Mary M. (Benoit) Kilgarriff, of Somerville, Sunday, Sept. 10, 2012. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the age of 98.

Gold Star wife of the late Joseph J. Kilgarriff. Beloved mother of William J. Kilgarriff and his wife Diane of Arlington. Cherished grandmother of Joseph J. Kilgarriff of Medford, Kelly Pigott and her husband John of Arlington, Erin Simmons and her husband Joseph of Arlington. Great grandmother of Caitlin, John, and Brendan Pigott, and Joseph, Shannon, Marykate, Sean, Meaghan and Bridget Simmons. Sister of Florence Benoit of Somerville, and the late William, Joseph, Andrew Benoit, Genevieve Wagner, and Rita Simard. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the , 5 Chestnut St., (Rt. 60, adjacent to St. Agnes’ Church), ARLINGTON, on Thursday at 8:30 a.m. Funeral mass at Saint John’s Church, Cambridge at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Visitation Thursday morning 8:30-10:30 a.m.  A private burial will be held at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne.
