John “Jack” J. Duane, of Arlington, formerly of the Bronx, N.Y., died Monday, Dec. 2, 2013.
Beloved husband of 57 years to Winifred Duane of Arlington. Loving father of Martin F. Duane and his wife Catherine of Hilton Head, S.C., Mary E. Duane of Worcester, Michael J. Duane and his wife Julie of Bedford and Jacqueline A. Duane of Sunderland. Cherished grandfather of Miranda, Jack, Isabel, Martin, Michael and Joseph. Dear brother of Catherine Percival of New York, Martin Duane of New York and the late Margaret Kamocsai. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Jack worked as a business executive for Sonesta Hotel Corp. for over 30 years. Late WWII Navy Veteran.
Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St. (Route 60, adjacent to St. Agnes Church), ARLINGTON, on Saturday at 8 a.m. Funeral mass at Saint Camillus Church at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 p.m. Burial Services will take place at Calvary Cemetery in New York.
