Obituary: Harriet Brown, Former Arlington Resident

Harriet A. Brown (Smith), of Lynnfield, formerly of Belmont and Arlington, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014.

Beloved wife of the late Curtis M. Brown. Loving mother of Curtis J. Brown and his wife Janet of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, and the late Cynthia Sawin and her husband Frank E. of Lynnfield. Grandmother of Carrie Rubino, Amy Sawin, Curtis J. Brown Jr., Michelle Demers and Brett Brown. Great grandmother of Mia, Molly and Celia. Sister of Edward Smith and the late Iris Canning and Margaretta Kimball. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours in the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home, 36 Trapelo Road, Belmont, on Wednesday, Jan. 29, from 10 a.m. to noon. Followed by a funeral home service at noon. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
