Obituary: Dorothea (Kennedy) O'Keefe

Dorothea (Kennedy) O'Keefe, of Arlington, died Saturday, June 29, 2013.

Beloved wife of the late Ronald O’Keefe. Loving mother of Sharon Madden and her husband Frank of Brewster, N.Y., Janice Flavin of Woburn, Christopher O’Keefe and his wife Mary of Arlington and Gail Treanor and her husband Chris of Medford.  Sister of the late John, David and Donald Kennedy. Devoted aunt of John R. Kennedy of Cambridge. Cherished grandmother of Michelle and Suzanne Madden, Douglas, Gregory, Jeffrey and the late Brendan Flavin, Brady, Colin and Cameron Treanor. Also survived by 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was a longtime employee at Symmes Hospital and member of the Catholic Daughters and Arlington Catholic Women’s Club.

Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St. (Route 60, adjacent to St. Agnes Church), ARLINGTON, on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Funeral mass at Saint Agnes Church at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends invited.
