Obituary: Donald Galluzzo, Lifelong Arlington Resident

Galluzzo died Monday, June 30. He was 83.

Donald J. Galluzzo, a lifelong resident of Arlington, died at the Lexington Health Care Center on Monday, June 30, 2014. Born in Arlington on Sept. 23, 1930 to the late Joseph and Theresa (Malgeri) Galluzzo, he was 83.

Donald is a retired employee of the South Boston Postal Annex, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War and a life member of American Legion Post 39 in Arlington.

Beloved husband of Elizabeth C. (Carlino) Galluzzo. Loving father of Marcelle Galluzzo of Arlington and Lisa Galluzzo and her husband Eric Krise of Fairport, New York. Brother of Joseph of Arlington, Richard of Framingham, the late Arthur, George, William, Alfred Galluzzo and Mildred Mullane. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., Route 60 (adjacent to St. Agnes Church), ARLINGTON, on Wednesday, July 9, at 9 a.m., followed by his funeral mass in Saint Agnes Church, Arlington, at 10 a.m. Services will conclude with burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 8, from 4-8 p.m.
