Bryan J. McGahan, of Arlington, died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013.
Beloved companion of Marilyn Forde of Arlington. Loving father of Samantha McGahan and Cynthia Forde both of Arlington. Devoted grandfather of Cory and Derek Bandouveres, and Kristi Hand. Brother of Maryalyce Diomede and her husband Anthony of Melrose, and the late Frederick McGahan. Brother-in-law of Barbara Marshall and Roberta Ryan both of Arlington. Uncle of Brian and his wife Lee Ann, and Robert and his wife Karen McGahan all of Woburn. Also survived by five great nieces and nephews.
Late Army Vietnam combat veteran, Retired Somerville Firefighter after 35 years, member of American Legion Post 39 and DAV Chapter 49.
