Evelyn Medeiros, Arlington Native, Dies at 91

Medeiros died Saturday, Nov. 23.

Mrs. Evelyn C. (Lupo) Medeiros, age 91, of Woburn, formerly of Arlington, died Saturday evening, Nov. 23, at the Wilmington Health Care Center after a brief illness. Born in Arlington, Evelyn was the devoted daughter of the late Clara (Carlino) and Vincent Lupo.

Evelyn was born and raised in Arlington and moved to Woburn in the early 1990s. She attended Arlington schools and was a former supervisor at the Raytheon Company. She enjoyed playing all kinds of cards, but most important to her was her loving family. Especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom she loved to cook for.

Evelyn was the beloved wife of the late Anthony L. Medeiros Sr. Devoted mother of Anthony L. Medeiros Jr. and his wife Clara, and Nancy Lyons, all of Billerica. Loving grandmother of Robin, Tony III, Leigh Bernard and her husband Dave, Warren, Delina Holl and her husband Jason, David Lyons and his wife Tracey, and Cheri Lavender and her husband Shayn. Loving great grandmother of Charles Driscoll, Catie Bernard, Olivia Augustine, MacKenzie, Cailey and Jack Holl, and Micha Lavender. Sister of the late Theresa Alicandro, Mary Carlino, Frank and Joseph Lupo.

Funeral from the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 9 a.m. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Barbara Church, 138 Cambridge Road, Woburn at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
