How to Get Rid of Your Christmas Tree in Arlington

The following is from the Town of Arlington.

In 2014, Christmas trees will be picked up the week of January 6-10 on your regular trash day.

Trees should be on the curb bare (no decoration, no plastic bags). Trees under or frozen in snow will not be collected.

Trees are taken to Lexington where they will be chipped and recycled.

Wreaths and garland should go out in regular trash (because they are wrapped in wire). This is a town-wide pick up of trees only. No yard waste will be picked up at this time.

Weekly yard waste collection begins the week of April 6, 2013 on your regular collection day and continues until November. Check back for exact date.
