Residents are invited to drop off a wide variety of household items for recycling. These include small electric appliances, such as toasters, microwaves, or printers, medical sharps (in approved containers), bikes, books and many other items.

CRT's can be dropped off for a charge of $10 per unit. Confidential papers can be dropped off for shredding. Technically this service is free but organizers are suggesting that a cash donation be made to the Arlington Food Pantry for this service.

There is also a new service this year. Residents are invited to bring in foam items such as meat and produce trays to be recycled. Packing blocks are also accepted but packing "peanuts" are not.
