When Cancer Strikes! Costume Bowlathon

On November 2 from 6pm-8pm all

kinds of ghosts and goblins will gather at the Lanes N Games bowling alley on
Route #2 in Cambridge for the 8th Annual When Cancer Strikes! Costume
Bowlathon to benefit The Center for
Cancer Support and Education in Arlington.


Anyone who loves a good party and

likes to bowl is invited to sign up, join a team, and be ready for free food,

prizes, raffles, and more.


This year The Center is organizing “Challenge” teams.  Bowling

teams will challenge each other for bragging rights and miniature

trophies.  Cambridge Savings Bank and

Rockland Trust have joined our “Challenge

of the Bankers!”
  We invite others to

join our “Challenge of the Churches!”Challenge of the Seniors!” and “Challenge
of the Teens!”
 Or set up your own
Challenge!


Bowlers will set up web pages at www.firstgiving.com/centerforcancer and attempt to raise $600/team to support the work of The Center.  People who don’t want to bowl, but still want to support The Center can go to this website and start fundraising as well by forwarding the link to family and friends.

The Center for Cancer Support and Education is celebrating its tenth year of service to Arlington and surrounding communities.  We provide support groups and wellness activities for those touched by cancer, as well as family members and caregivers.  Our programs offer much needed assistance—from initial diagnosis and pre-surgery through end-of-life issues.  For more information, email diane@centerforcancer.org or see www.centerforcancer.org.
