Transpose: A Benefit for the Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition

On June 13, 14 & 15, 2014 over 110 students from the Plugged In Band
Program will be showcasing their talents as they rock and roll to raise
awareness and funds for the Massachusetts Transgender Political
Coalition (MTPC). This session 39 bands of young musicians ages 6 to
19 will show that music isn’t just about being a super star – music is about
making the world a better place for everyone!

Concert T-Shirts and CD’s will also be available at the show! All
proceeds from the sale of shirts and CD go directly to the Massachusetts
Transgender Political Coalition.

Founded in 2001, the MTPC is dedicated to ending discrimination on the
basis of gender identity and gender expression. They envision a world
where persons of all genders are treated with respect and fully participate
in all areas of society, free from fear of prohibition, harassment or violence
based on their gender identity and/or expression.

Check out the MTPC on Facebook, Twitter or the web to learn more about the
great work they’re doing.
