Swiss Gaming Corner Hosted by swissnex Boston

swissnex Boston, the world's first science consulate dedicated to building stronger relationships between scientists, entrepreneurs and innovators in Massachusetts and Switzerland, is hosting the Swiss Gaming Corner, April 11-15 at its Cambridge, Mass. headquarters. Showcasing the best of Swiss gaming and keynote addresses from the Geneva University of Art and Design HEAD program and Berklee College of Music, the event will run in conjunction with the Pax East gaming conference in Boston. 

A sample of the swissnex Boston Swiss Gaming Corner lineup includes:

  • Eight interactive, storytelling and augmented reality games designed by students at HEAD including 2014 GDC "Best in Play" award winner IDNA;
  • Demonstration of GDC "Best in Play" 2013 winner KRAUTSCAPE by developer Mario von Rickenbach;
  • Keynote address from HEAD Director Jean-Pierre Greff about game design; 
  • Keynote address from Berklee College of Music Associate Professor Michael Sweet discussing the exciting role music plays in the gaming experience;
  • Pitches from developers about their games and the inspirations behind them.
