Youthquake Theater, Boston’s troupe of young actors, presents William Shakespeare’s classic tale of young love. The troupe launches their second season with the star-crossed lovers and their timeless story of woe.
Founded in June 2012, Youthquake Theater started out with a random idea (Let’s do "Hamlet" in the backyard!) and took off with a bang. Through Youthquake, young people ranging in age from 11-17, stage theater productions focusing primarily on the works of William Shakespeare. We are proud to say that our productions are organized, acted, and directed entirely by children and teens.
