Piano-Based Folk from the Heart--Anna Dagmar, with Patti DeRosa opening

Come
join us for "Piano-Based Folk from the Heart," featuring
Manhattan-based Anna Dagmar on piano, with Boston-based Patti DeRosa
starting, on guitar. Each is a well-known singer-songwriter, and
tours the local, national, and international music scenes. Anna
Dagmar, a multiple prizewinner and Eastman graduate, cites classical,
jazz, and folk influences including Joni Mitchell, Billy Joel and

Leonard Bernstein in her songs and music. Her most recent CD,
"Satellite," was produced by Ben Wittman and featured Marc
Shulman, Lucy Kaplansky and Natalia Zukerman. Her songs set
different moods with great stories. Patti's style is acoustic music
peppered with rhythm and spice, simmered with the flavors of folk,
jazz, R&B, & rock, and served piping hot. Her eclectic mix of

musical magic and engaging stage presence creates an unforgettable

type of performance that is passionate, insightful, topical, and full

of attitude. Patti has also released several CD's.
