 Off Broadway Show

“The Gospel According to Josh”

At the  A.H.S.  Auditorium

Tuesday, Oct.8 -   7:30 p.m.

For parents of  Middle and High School

The 6th Annual Health and Safety Day Event : The Gospel According to Josh will be held for students at A.H.S. on Wednesday, Oct.9.

A 15 character, one man show about a one man’s journey through religion, reality TV, and his father’s suicide.  Written and performed by New York playwright and actor Josh Rivedal.  Josh will give a brief commentary about the piece and Youth Suicide Prevention immediately following.  (Funding was provided by the Arlington Education Foundation.)

PRESENTER: Josh Rivedal moved from New Jersey to New York at the age 0f 21 to tackle the world of fame, fortune and the Broadway stage…in what he thought would be a stepping stone to Hollywood and a star on the walk of fame. Eight years later and through a series of remarkable events, a bad economy and mixture of collegiate and self-education; Josh reinvented himself as an international public speaker, educator, consultant and entrepreneur. He currently serves on the board of directors for the NYC chapter of the American Foundation  for Suicide Prevention and as an advisory board member for Elijah’s Journey: A Jewish Response to Suicide Prevention.
